Where is the light of the World?
The veil descended,
the darkness deepened.
The death of Abel
dropped the curtain on Eden.
Then came Cain
to kill for gain.
Terror on the plain
to rule and reign.
Where is the light
of the world?
In the tomb hurled!
Leaving only blackness fright.
Is there any sea space
below so dark and dreary
that there is no grace
of light for the weary?
No, there is nuclear decay
brilliantly blasting through ocean’s clay.
And from the rot of the shroud,
the Savior rose through the cloud.
